Responsibilities
2nd Shift - 2:30 pm - 10:30 pm Monday through Friday Starting pay $22.19/hr. + $1.00 shift differential Pay Grade HR130# of Openings: 1 MSA Safety in Cranberry Township, PA is now hiring for Assembler Sensor Manufacturing associates for our manufacturing plant. Responsibilities: Assembly and test (including set-up), of complex combustible, electro-chemical or infrared sensors and/or sub-assemblies requiring wiring and soldering. Some troubleshooting required.Picking material out of the warehouse.Performing visual inspections and minor repairs and rework.Completing and maintaining relevant paperwork and input information in computer system.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements: Ability to: read and understand drawings, work instructions and test procedures.understand standard units of measure and to set-up and interpret results of various measuring devices.perform standard software operations including SAP.regularly perform work that requires magnification.concentrate for prolonged periods of time.infrequently lift, carry, push and pull up to 40 pounds without assistance.infrequently stand in a stationary position.use power and hand tools, and custom tooling.work in a team environment and effectively communicate with various levels within the organization including training of new associates and temporary agency assignments.organize and prioritize work and operate at a level that meets or exceeds quality and productivity standards for the work area.wear ANSI Z87 approved safety glasses, steel toe shoes, lab coat, sleeves, gloves, and other PPE as required per Job Safety Analysis.
- Past soldering experience (training provided if no experience established).
