Description

Our client is a stable and expanding regional corporate & investment bank. They are currently looking for a Assistant Manager, Credit & Market Risk Management to expand their risk management function in Hong Kong. This role will also act as the inter-mediate to create an effectively communicate channel between HQ & local staff.

Responsibilities

1. Work closely with Senior Manager to assess credit risk via performing analysis on financial transactions
2. Coordinate with local & HQ Risk Management units (Market risk, liquidity risk, credit risk, operational risk & climate risk) on implementing risk management initiatives in accordance with HKMA's policy and guidelines
3. Act as the key contact points of HQ & external supervisory agencies on the bank's risk management reporting
4. Review & perform analysis on management information report to aggregate data & information for senior management's review
5. Support on any ad hoc project as assigned by management

Requirements

1. Native in Korean is a must; fluent in English
2. Degree or above
3. 3 years + Credit Risk Management experience
4. Candidate with all-rounded risk management (Market risk, liquidity risk, credit risk, operational risk & climate risk) background would be highly preferable
5. Strong communicator that can establish an effective communication channel between Headquarter & Local Staff
6. Possess accounting experience/knowledge would also be highly preferable
7. Prior banking experience would be an advantage
8. Strong proficiency in MS-office, especially Excel
9. Candidate with more experience would be considered for the Manager position
