The Role

AVP/VP, Automotive & Advanced Manufacturing Sector, Equity Research

Key Accountabilities

• Assist in covering listed companies in the overseas advanced manufacturing and automotive sectors, tracking industry policies, trends, and other relevant information, and providing periodic/irregular analysis reports;
• Provide investment advice and services to clients through roadshows, conference calls, commissioned research, and other channels;
• Maintain industry databases, build and update company financial models, and complete other tasks assigned by the company or department.

Skills & Experience

• 10-15 years of relevant financial and sector experience; a background in sell-side equity research is preferred;
• Candidates with over 2 years of full time working experience in Hong Kong or overseas is considered as an advantage;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English, excellent research and data organization abilities, and independent thinking;
• Deep understanding and insights into the research field, with the ability to accurately grasp industry trends, policies, and market information, and possess solid investment analysis skills.
