- Cathodic Protection Technician

We are seeking aCathodic Protection Technician who would like to work and grow as a team player within our multi-discipline firm. The successful individual will have a strong work ethic as well as experience collaborating in a team environment. This position requires regular in-office work in our Anchorage office as well as field work mobilized out of Anchorage.
Responsibilities May Include:
Performing Cathodic Protection Surveys for various structures (pipelines, docks, etc.)
Supporting indirect inspections on pipelines and facility piping including CIS, DCVG, and ACVG.
Assisting with CP component repairs including test stations, rectifiers, and RMUs.
Providing CP system installation support.
Locating pipelines and performing depth of cover surveys
Performing Atmospheric Corrosion Inspections
Requirements
- 2 years minimum of field survey experience is required
- NACE CP2 Technician certification or greater preferred
- College degree preferred
- Oil & gas and/or water/wastewater experience is preferred
- Ability to travel, perform field work, and work overtime
- Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets Coffman’s stringent requirements
- Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC) or eligibility to obtain a TWIC
- Exceptional organization, writing and communication skills
