Eton Clarke is working closely with a global investment bank, to assist them in their search for a Compliance Advisor at their Paris branch.

This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with front office teams and wants to be part of a collaborative, international environment. The purpose of the role is to confidently advise the Fixed Income team on compliance matters related to Financial Markets products, such as DCM, Derivatives and FX.

What you'll be doing

1. Advising front office and support teams on applicable regulations and internal policies
2. Supporting the business on topics linked to MiFID, EMIR, MAR and other relevant frameworks
3. Acting as a subject matter expert for Financial Markets activities
4. Assisting with the review and investigation of potential compliance issues where needed
5. Building strong working relationships across the business and with global stakeholders
6. Contributing to ongoing regulatory and business-driven projects

What we're looking for

1. 5+ years' experience in Compliance Advisory within a banking environment
2. Strong knowledge of Financial Markets products (e.g. DCM, Fixed Income, Derivatives, FX)
3. Good understanding of key European regulations (MiFID, EMIR, MAR)
4. Experience working closely with front office teams
