Eton Clarke has been mandated by a Global Investment Bank to assist them in their search for a Compliance Advisor who can partner with their Front-Office Teams across Fixed Income, FX, Derivatives and DCM. The purpose of the role is to advise Front-Office Teams as a Subject Matter Expert, whilst assessing and strengthening existing policies and controls, including regulatory frameworks such as MiFID, EMIR, and MAR.

What we are looking for:

• 5+ years of experience in a similar compliance or advisory role
• Strong knowledge of capital markets and trading activities
• AMF certification

This is a high-impact role that engages closely with business units, internal committees, regulators, auditors, and other global entities, promoting a strong compliance culture while safeguarding the bank's reputation. This is what your day would typically look like in this position:

• Provide real-time advisory support to Fixed Income, FX, Derivatives and DCM front-office teams on regulatory requirements, conduct risk, market abuse, conflicts of interest, and new product approvals.
• Review and challenge transactions and structures, including DCM issuances and complex derivatives, to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, internal policies, and jurisdictional rules.
• Partner with the business on regulatory change, interpreting new or evolving rules (e.g. market conduct, transparency, suitability) and advising on practical implementation within trading and origination workflows.
• Monitor front-office activity and behaviours, escalating potential breaches, coordinating investigations, and supporting remediation actions where required.
• Deliver targeted training and guidance to front-office staff, helping embed a strong culture of compliance while enabling commercial objectives.
