Description

A leading international corporate and investment bank is seeking a Compliance Vice President to join its Financial Markets Advisory team in Paris.

This is a front office facing advisory role supporting Sales and Trading, Derivatives, FX, Debt Financing and Debt Capital Markets activities. The position offers high visibility within the business and direct interaction with senior stakeholders across Paris and wider EMEA.

The team acts as the primary compliance partner to Financial Markets, providing real time regulatory advice on complex transactions, new products and strategic initiatives.

The Role

You will act as a trusted advisor to the front office, covering:

• Debt Capital Markets
• Fixed Income and Derivatives
• Foreign Exchange
• Structured and debt financing activities

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing day to day regulatory advice to front office teams
• Advising on MiFID II, EMIR, MAR and the wider EU regulatory framework
• Supporting new product approvals and New Product Committee discussions
• Advising on market abuse, conflicts of interest and conduct risk matters
• Reviewing transaction materials, marketing documentation and deal structures
• Supporting investigations of potential breaches and regulatory queries
• Partnering with global compliance teams and Head Office stakeholders
• Contributing to regulatory change implementation impacting Financial Markets

Profile

• Solid experience in Compliance Advisory within an investment bank
• Strong exposure to Financial Markets products
• Proven experience advising front office stakeholders directly
• Strong working knowledge of MiFID II, EMIR and MAR
• AMF certification required
• Fluent English essential
