Key Responsibilities:

• - Ensure compliance with Japan's regulations by managing compliance policies and internal controls.
• - Conduct inspections and investigate potential policy breaches.
• - Organize and lead staff training on compliance updates.
• - Act as the compliance point of contact, advising departments on regulatory issues.
• - Identify and document compliance risks, ensuring timely reporting and follow-up.
• - Provide advice on compliance and regulatory matters in Japan.
• - Review new business plans to ensure they meet Japan's regulations.
• - Communicate with regulatory bodies and keep updated on regulatory changes, implementing necessary actions.

Qualifications:

• - Native Japanese speaker with fluent English.
• - Experience in compliance or back-office roles within a Type I registered firm.
