Description

Newly created headcount to join an established Hedge Fund expanding their presence across the APAC region. This role will work closely with the Chief Compliance Officer to jointly manage end-to-end regulatory requirements across the region.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

• Keep abreast of regulatory developments in Singapore and Hong Kong and ensure consistent upkeep of the compliance frameworks to be in line with regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to global compliance initiatives to enhance corporate governance, reporting, and monitoring processes.
• Assist in surveillance activities and management of material non-public information to prevent market manipulation.
• Assist on broad compliance coverage such as PA dealing, licensing, cross-border compliance advisory and compliance training.

To be eligible for this role you will require:

• Around 5-7 years of compliance experience in the hedge fund, asset management or global markets industry.
• Strong understanding of Singapore's regulatory landscape and experience functioning as the main point of contact with the MAS will be advantageous.
• Ability to work independently.
