Full-time, Fixed Term for 12 months
Hybrid work model, some days from home some days in office
UNSW College is seeking a detail- oriented and proactive Compliance Officer to join our Legal and Compliance team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the College meets its regulatory obligations
while supporting high- quality education delivery to domestic and international students.

About the role
Reporting to the Compliance Manager, you will support the College’s compliance framework across both
international and domestic student requirements. This includes monitoring regulatory obligations,
maintaining compliance systems, and providing advice to stakeholders across the organisation.
You will play a critical role in ensuring adherence to key legislation, including the ESOS Act, National Code and Higher Education Support Act.
Key responsibilities
Provide expert advice on the ESOS legislative framework and student compliance matters
Monitor compliance and investigate/report potential breaches
Maintain compliance registers, including CRICOS and ESOS records
Support accurate and timely PRISMS reporting in collaboration with Admissions and Enrolment teams
Assist with regulatory submissions, provider registration, and course accreditation
Contribute to internal and external audits
Deliver compliance training and guidance to staff
Support domestic student compliance obligations
About you
You are a highly organised and analytical compliance professional who enjoys working in a collaborative
environment.
You will bring:
Experience interpreting legislation and managing compliance frameworks
Strong knowledge of ESOS and/or Higher Education regulatory requirements
Experience with PRISMS and student data reporting
Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
Experience in the higher education sector is highly regarded.
