Overview
We are looking for college students (rising Juniors and Seniors) seeking internships for the summer of 2026 in LA. Shawmut Design and Construction is looking for an intern to work within our Finance Team, helping to support our clients. We are looking for somebody who would thrive in a fast-paced environment and wants to learn more about Corporate Finance and how we work with other departments throughout the company.

Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Project Accountants to ensure daily tasks are complete
- Learn the systems and imaging software used including CMiC and Kofax
- Learn about the different workflows in the Finance department
- Interact with other departments such as Group Finance to ensure projects are running smoothly and vendors are paid timely when properly compliant
- Support our internal clients on Accounting needs
- Transition between departments to understand how we interact and work together
- Assist Corporate Accounting in reconciliations
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
- Rising Junior or Seniors preferred
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
