- Handle startup and shut down duties pertaining to the kettle cook operation.
- Responsible for product quality.
- Load cooking machine with raw materials and ensure the ingredients are the correct items.
- Work with managers to ensure formula instructions are up to date.
- Operate cooking machines to ensure the product is made according to formula instructions including order addition of ingredients and mixer speed at proper temperatures.
- Operate the pump system.
- Reconcile the paperwork.
- Ensure HACCP temperatures are correct.
- Computer skills and scanning skills.
- Must be able to work in humid conditions.
- Other duties and special projects as assigned.
- Safety/GMP/Food Safety/Quality policies followed.
- BRC Compliance.
- Reporting accuracy.
- Customer requirements.
- Attendance requirements met.
- Ability to build strong relationships, provide excellent customer service, and problem solve.
- Must be capable of cleaning with chemicals using protective gear.
- Capable of learning the function and design of different machines.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers, leads and Supervisors.
- Ability to work independently and follow written instructions.
- Must be capable of reading and writing in English.
- May be exposed to potential allergens.
- Must be able to work safely in potentially slippery conditions.
- Must have the ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be capable of climbing ladders and/or stairs.
- Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds.
- This position is an onsite position.
