Description
A leading Prop-Trading Firm is looking to hire a Cross-Asset Risk Manager to support traders across multiple strategies.The firm has over 10 years of a successful track record in trading cash and derivative markets. Since they were founded, the firm has traded a variety of low/mid/high frequency strategies and has been a successful market maker for both traditional and digital assets. They have a global footprint and are currently expanding their front office facing risk team in NYC and Chicago.
Given the wide range of products that they trade, the team is looking for versatile candidate who can wear multiple hats on the risk team and provide direct support and advice to traders. The hiring manager wants this hire to be eager and efficient to get things done in a fast pace front office setting. The whole team is highly commercial and strong problem solvers for the traders while also being proficient programmers who can easily collaborate with a developers and quant researchers.
This is a great opportunity for candidate on the buyside and sellside who want to fully utilize their quantitative skills and maintain front office influence and relationships.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in a quantitative risk role
- Degree in a quantitative discipline (computer science, mathematics, physics, etc.) from a top tier university
- Experience risk managing futures and options trading, preferably in FX, Rates, Equities, Commodities, or Crypto
- Familiarity with quantitative trading strategies and options market making
- Expertise in Python coding
