Description
OverviewThe Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of dining operations at the private golf club, ensuring exceptional service and a high-quality culinary experience for members and guests. This role involves managing staff, maintaining standards, optimizing profitability, and creating a welcoming atmosphere in all food and beverage outlets, including the clubhouse restaurant, bar, and event spaces.
Experience Required
- Proven experience as a food and beverage manager or similar leadership role
- Experience in private clubs, hotels, or high-end restaurants preferred
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and inventory management
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ServSafe, TIPS, Food Handler's Certificate) are a plus
Essential Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, including dining room, bar, halfway house, etc.
- Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise food and beverage staff to deliver outstanding service
- Develop and manage budgets and control costs
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef on menu planning, special events, and member feedback
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Monitor inventory, order supplies, and maintain vendor relationships
- Plan and execute private events, tournaments, and club functions
- Address member and guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally
- Maintain a welcoming, upscale environment that reflects the Club's standards
- Generate reports and analyze data to improve operations and member satisfaction
