Term: 12 months +
Rate: $80/hr or less
- Must be US Based
- Largely remote (though may need to travel to a new building installation location if determined needed.)
JOB DESCRIPTION
Client is seeking a DAS Project Manager to support the daily operations of a large, globally distributed portfolio of in-building Distributed Antenna System (DAS) deployments. This role is critical to ensuring the operational health, vendor execution, and infrastructure access required to maintain seamless wireless coverage across enterprise environments.
The Project Manager will act as the operational right hand to the Global DAS Program Owner, allowing them to focus on strategic program development by offloading executional and coordination responsibilities. The ideal candidate will bring strong project management discipline, a foundational understanding of network-based infrastructure, and a bias for action in fast-paced environments.
This is a role for a self-directed, organized, and technically fluent Project Manager with experience in operational execution, vendor coordination, and cross-functional collaboration. While deep RF expertise is not required, familiarity with DAS or network architecture is strongly preferred.
Role Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day DAS operational support, including incident tracking, vendor coordination, and routine health checks across a global site portfolio.
- Coordinate third-party vendors delivering system maintenance, response services, upgrades, and performance remediation.
- Manage site access logistics for all DAS-equipped locations, including access request approvals, escort coordination, and compliance with site security protocols.
- Track and support network configurations for new DAS systems or modifications to enable remote monitoring and health reporting.
- Support and improve operational processes including change management, ticket escalation workflows, site documentation, and alarm monitoring procedures.
- Collaborate with the Program Owner to ensure budget alignment and that technical decisions or escalations are properly triaged.
- Maintain detailed status reports and project tracking documentation, ensuring visibility for stakeholders across IT, real estate, and vendor teams.
- Lead regular vendor check-ins and performance reviews to drive accountability, track SLAs, and surface operational risks.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all operational workflows, tooling, and vendor engagements.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience, preferably in technical infrastructure, telecom, or facilities environments.
- Foundational knowledge of network architecture and ability to engage in basic troubleshooting discussions with technical teams.
- Experience coordinating across wireless carrier vendors (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, etc.) and infrastructure partners is a plus.
- Familiarity with DAS system components (Ericsson, SOLiD, CommScope, etc.) preferred but not required.
- Strong proficiency in project documentation, Excel tracking, incident management systems, and operational reporting.
- Effective communicator, able to write clearly, summarize quickly, and escalate with context and precision.
- Self-starter with strong follow-through, able to spot gaps or risks before others and take initiative without being prompted.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and ability to travel occasionally to domestic sites as needed.
- Ability to work in a remote-first environment while maintaining a high level of ownership and visibility.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 2-year technical degree in a relevant field (e.G., network, architecture, CAD);4-year degree in engineering, IT, or similar strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with cellular DAS systems, ticketing platforms, and telecom infrastructure concepts.
- Experience managing vendors in complex enterprise environments.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple streams of work across stakeholders and systems.
- Ability to travel domestically on occasion to support escalated vendor activity or site issues.
- High degree of professionalism and the ability to build credibility with both field teams and executive stakeholders.
