Description

The City of Northville Public Works office is accepting applications for a Laborer and Equipment Operator positions.  These fulltime positions perform strenuous physical labor on construction maintenance and repair projects in the Department of Public Works and Downtown. 

 The Laborer position will be offered alternative work schedule, including four (4) 10- hour days or three (3) 12-hour days during the months of May through November in order to perform assigned work Downtown, including evening and weekend hours. This position will return to normal 5-day eight (8) hour work schedule December through April. 

Requirements

Applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid Michigan driver’s license and CDL with airbrakes and tanker endorsement or obtain one within 90 days of employment.
