Part-Time | Weekend Role (Fri–Sun to 10pm | Optional Thurs Evening)
$180,000–$200,000 + super (pro-rata, based on experience)

About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced veterinarian to join our weekend ECC team, delivering high-quality emergency care and managing a diverse inpatient caseload.

This position is ideal for:

• An ECC vet seeking a balanced, well-supported environment
• An experienced GP vet wanting to transition into emergency work
• A clinician looking to reduce weekday workload while maintaining strong income

The role will include:

• Emergency consultations, triage, and case stabilisation
• Ongoing inpatient management and case continuity
• Working closely with a highly trained ECC nursing team
• Handover and collaboration with our GP and hospital teams
• Emergency-only caseload — no routine GP consulting
• Structured, well-paced workflow — focus on quality care, not volume
• Modern, purpose-built hospital with strong clinical systems and support

 
Roster & Flexibility
Friday, Saturday & Sunday shifts until 10pm
Optional Thursday evening shift
Option for 3 weekends per month
Accommodation provided for travel-in vets (no relocation required)

Requirements

 
What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years clinical experience
• Confidence in triage, stabilisation, and emergency case management
• Ability to work independently while being part of a collaborative team
• Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills
• A genuine interest in high-quality emergency and patient care
