Firmware Validation Engineer w/Zoox Inc. (Foster City, CA)

 Develop software for an automated validation framework, supporting continuous integration and nightly tests. Research, design, develop, and maintain software tools for development and validation. Present tool ideas and/or features to the team to improve processes. Integrate tester software systems with server infrastructure. Design and implement automated test framework optimizations. Work closely with embedded software and validation engineers and across teams to test and validate Firmware and ECUs to ensure the highest stability of the covered systems. Develop software for performance monitoring and real time diagnostics of ECUs on the fleet. Build and maintain data processing and analytics tools to monitor performance of ECUs on fleet. Utilize Python, Git, CI/CD processes, Bamboo, and Linux.

 Requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, or a related technical degree. Must have academic training or experience in the following: developing an API Proxy; Utilizing Python, Git, CI/CD processes, Bamboo, and Linux; building data pipelines; performing data analytics; building and managing continuous integration tools and platforms; developing test procedures, executing tests, and maintaining test plans and documentation.
