We are seeking an experienced and motivated Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team. With the support of the Venues Manager , the Food and Beverage Supervisor will assist in overseeing daily operations, lead a team of food and beverage staff, and ensure seamless service to maintain the highest level of guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Supervise food and beverage staff, including servers, bartenders, and hosts/hostesses
• Train and mentor team members, ensuring adherence to service standards and procedures
• Participate in colleague coaching and counseling
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with safety and sanitation regulations in dining areas
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to maintain adequate stock
• Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and efficient manner
• Schedule staff and manage labor costs effectively while maintaining service standards
• Assist in developing and implementing strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and improve service quality
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
• Collaborate with management to create and update menus, pricing, and promotions
• Conduct regular inspections to evaluate service quality and resolve any issues promptly
• Provide "on the floor" support including but not limited to covering breaks, and assisting with hands on service to meet business demands

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-year food and beverage, banquet or hospitality supervisory experience preferred. Candidates with experience as lead bartender, leader sever, or banquet captain will be considered
• A true desire to exceed guest expectations in a fast-paced customer service environment
• Prior experience in bars is preferred
• Refined written and verbal communication skills
• Service oriented style with professional presentation skills
• Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal, administrative skills
• Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role in the food and beverage industry is preferred
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including service techniques and standards
• Proficient in Micros/Symphony/POS knowledge, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations and willingness to enforce them
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal skillset
