You'll be joining at an early stage - fewer than 20 people - where your decisions shape the architecture, your code ships to users the same week you write it, and there's nobody to hide behind.

The Role
This is a Full-Stack Software Engineer position with genuine end-to-end ownership. You won't be handed a ticket and pointed at a backlog. You'll scope problems, design solutions, build them, ship them, and iterate based on real user feedback - often within the same week.

You'll work across the full stack - from polished frontend interfaces to robust backend services and the infrastructure that ties them together. You'll be expected to hold a systems-level view: understanding how decisions in the UI ripple through to the database, and vice versa.

AI isn't a feature here - it's how the team works. You'll plan and build with AI tools as a core part of your workflow, and you'll write code that's clean and intentional enough for both humans and AI to reason about.

What You'll Do

1. Build full-stack features from UI to backend, owning entire product surfaces
2. Write clean, readable, well-architected code with minimal surprise
3. Use AI tools (Cursor, Copilot, agentic workflows) as a genuine part of your daily development
4. Architect systems with a holistic view of frontend, backend, and infrastructure
5. Ship fast in tight feedback loops - your work goes live quickly
6. Collaborate directly with a small, senior team where everyone's input shapes the product

What They're Looking For
Must-haves:

1. 1+ years (mid-level) or 5+ years (senior) of professional software engineering experience
2. Confident across the full stack - comfortable in both frontend and backend
3. Strong CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, performance trade-offs
4. TypeScript and React experience - Next.js is a strong plus
5. CS degree (or equivalent) from a reputable university
6. Based in London or able to relocate - this role is 5 days per week on-site

Strong signals:

1. Experience at a high-calibre tech company: FAANG, Stripe, Revolut, Monzo, Wise, Datadog, Bloomberg or similar
2. Time at a startup or small team (under 20 people) where you wore many hats
3. Experience building with AI/LLMs - agents, RAG systems, or LLM-powered features
4. You've shipped something end-to-end on your own: a side project, an open source tool, a product
