Compensation:$29.77/hr.

Accountabilities:
- Perform assigned lead activities.
- Operate equipment and technology tools throughout the production facility, backfilling prior areas as needed, utilizing a broad understanding of varied and multi-dimensional processes to perform required duties.
- Support others in learning operating procedures, provide input to peers and recommend changes to ensure clarity and effectiveness of guidance, including procedure documentation.
- Perform maintenance and lead troubleshooting efforts throughout the facility, making adjustments or instructing others necessary.
- Ensure recording of production and inventory activities by the team is entered into computerized systems.
- Operate mobile powered equipment (i.e forklift, skid loader, sit down floor sweeper, front end loader).
- Understand and ensure adherence to all safety policies and procedures, maintain a safe and clean work environment and control work pace and progress on assigned equipment and processes, requiring awareness of links with other process areas.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer
- Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility
- Must have a valid Driver's License
- High School Diploma/GED or a minimum of two years relevant work experience
- Ability to work overtime, weekends and holidays with advance notice
- Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
- Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
- Must be able to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment PPE
- Advanced computer skills (Excel, Microsoft office)
Qualifications:
- Experience operating and troubleshooting industrial equipment (ex., packaging machinery, etc.)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in production related work
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and in a positive manner
- Actively demonstrate Safety Leadership
- Front end loader experience
- Forklift Certified
- Do you have experience using a computer, SAP system?
