What You Will Do:
- Provide project engineering and design of new water treatment facilities, groundwater wells, water storage facilities, pumping stations, and water distribution systemsConduct business development and develop client relationships in drinking water marketsReview existing water treatment facilities, prepare reports for proposed equipment/systems upgrades and replacements, and present your findings to clients and regulatory agenciesHelp develop specifications and drawings such as process flow diagrams (PFDs) and process & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) for senior drafting techniciansAssess impact of changing EPA and MDH regulations for specific client needsTravel to client and vendor locations for design reviews, field verification of designs, proposal presentations, and other business development activitiesDesign and renovate lift stations, review existing wastewater treatment facilities, help prepare sewer system plans
What You Will Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or similar degree from an accredited schoolFundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and registration as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) is a condition of employment and must be achieved at the time of hire or within six (6) months 1 year of experience in project management and planning, designing, and construction of water treatment facilities, groundwater wells, water storage facilities, pumping stations, and water distribution systemsCandidates must have a valid driver's license with a good driving recordExcellent communication skills and a strong work ethic Ability to work 40 hours a weekWork is primarily performed in an office environment with standard office equipment, occasional travel or field visits may be required
