Description

A small international bank is looking for an experienced Head of Compliance (SMF16).

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Defining/implementing/maintaining effective compliance and regulatory reporting
2. Conducting policies/procedures/monitoring controls/governance to ensure compliance with all UK regulatory requirements
3. Conducting risk and control assessments
4. Maintenance of London's compliance risk appetite
5. Providing guidance and training on compliance and new regulatory developments
6. Serving as the point of contact for UK regulatory authorities
7. Collaborating and reporting with Head Office on compliance issues
8. Supporting auditors, both internal and external

Your experience must include:

1. Extensive proven compliance experience in banking, as Head of Compliance at SMF16 level or as a strong Deputy looking to step up
2. Strong knowledge of UK regulatory frameworks
3. Excellent communication skills - both written and oral

This is a hybrid role - working 4 days a week in the London office and 1 day remotely.
