Hong Kong / Low-Latency Java Engineer - Prime Execution & Electronic Trading - Global Investment Bank

A global investment bank is building a new Prime Execution and electronic trading platform within its Equity Prime Brokerage business. This is a front-office engineering role reporting into senior execution leadership, with a mandate to deliver next-generation OMS, EMS, and execution infrastructure .

The role:

Design and build low-latency, high-throughput trading systems supporting equities and equity derivatives flows for hedge fund clients, as part of a greenfield platform build.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Java development experience
• Low-latency / high-performance systems background (banking, trading, or crypto)
• Exposure to execution platforms, OMS/EMS, DMA, or connectivity preferred
• Strong fundamentals in concurrency, system design, and clean engineering
