Human Resources Director – Renton, WA or Washington DC Office Locations
Conrac Solutions seeks a Human Resources Director. The Human Resources Director will serve as the organization’s primary internal HR professional, providing both strategic leadership and hands-on execution across all human resources functions for a growing organization of approximately 70 employees in 17 states.
This position serves as the Company’s senior internal HR operations resource. The role is responsible for implementation, administration, and management of HR programs and processes. Candidates with small/mid-size business experience, experience creating programs to bring teams together, ability to recruit, and a keen understanding of employment law are strongly encouraged to apply!

Qualifications:
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
7+ years of progressive HR experience with demonstrated leadership responsibility.
Prior experience serving as an HR Manager or HR Director in an organization with at least 50 employees.
Experience operating as a standalone HR leader or an HR lead in a lean HR environment.
Experience PEO models and HRIS/payroll platforms (ADP experience preferred).
Strong working knowledge of U.S. employment law, compliance, and employee relations.
Demonstrated ability to design HR strategy while executing day-to-day HR operations.
High level of organization, self-motivation, discretion, and accountability.
Strong interpersonal, communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
Analytical skills for compensation analysis, workforce reporting, and compliance monitoring.
Preferred
Professional HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR).
Experience in a growth-stage, operationally complex, or multi-location environment.
Experience partnering closely with finance or accounting leadership.
Experience in multi-state payroll
Compensation & Benefits:
The annual base compensation for this role is $135,000 - $165,000, commensurate with experience, qualifications, and location. This position is open to candidates near Renton, WA & Washington DC.
