DESCRIPTION:

Visual Sound is seeking an experienced Mitel Phone Engineer to join our team in Mechanicsburg, PA. This role requires providing expert support for Mitel phone technology, ensuring seamless functionality and optimal performance for both existing and new clients. As the primary point of escalation for the Mitel first line group, you will deliver technical support remotely or on-site. The ideal candidate will be expected to design, build, and manage the deployment of Mitel phone systems.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assisting the sales team with initial client consultations, demos, designs, and walkthroughs to generate new business
• Reviewing customer proposals and making modifications as needed
• Project managing and installing systems/solutions, including cabling and infrastructure
• Support existing Mitel Phone System client base, diagnose phone system faults and repair them
• Collaborate with third-party vendors to address any network faults with LAN/WAN infrastructure
• Maintain Mitel and CTS certifications and obtain future certifications as necessary
• Attend Mitel Tech forum monthly meetings and communicate how it may/may not impact clients
• When time permits, working on Audio-Visual projects
• Flexibility as needed on jobs
• Attend trade shows as needed
• Other duties as required or assigned by company management

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications:

• Shall possess, at a minimum, a CTS certification. InfoComm CTS-D certification is a plus
• Proven track record in AV systems engineering
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work well with other people
• Must be responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable and well-organized
• Superior customer service skills to deal with both internal and external customers
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work with diverse groups
• Proficiency in the use of personal computers including such programs as MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Ability to demonstrate planning, organizing and implementing skills which allow the successful completion of a project by a specific due date
• Must be able to effectively handle stressful situations
• Must be able to read and effectively interpret general business documentation
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, sit and use hands and fingers
• Some light lifting of objects, in addition to reaching, grasping and carrying activities
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
• Occasional outside activities are subject to seasonal temperature fluctuations
