This position is in Cargill's food and bioindustrial business, where manufacturers, retailers, and foodservice companies rely on us to consistently deliver the products and services they need, and use our technical expertise and market knowledge to develop innovative products.
Key Accountabilities
- Setup similar machines with limited setup requirements.
- Feed materials into machine, operate and monitor short-cycle machine operation with frequent guidance and make adjustments to ensure product specifications are met.
- Use hand and power tools to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot basic machine issues, escalating broader machine issues.
- Track production and quality records both manually and electronically.
- Operate powered mobile equipment including forklift or pallet jack.
- Unload and prepare product for movement of finished product.
- Understand and adhere to all safety policies and procedures including equipment lockout-tag outs.
- Other duties as assigned
