Opportunity Details
- Position Type:Full-Time (1.0 FTE)
- Schedule: 24 weeks per year

Requirements:
- Board Certified in General Surgery
- Board Certified in Surgical Critical Care
- ACS or SCC Fellowship completion required
- Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA license
- ACLS/BLS certified
Duties & Responsibilities
A typical day may include:
- Provide comprehensive care in Trauma Surgery, Surgical Critical Care, and Emergency General Surgery
- Participate in the care of trauma patients across the full continuum, from initial resuscitation through rehabilitation
- Serve as a clinical educator for General Surgery Residents and Surgical Critical Care Fellows
- Engage in clinical research and scholarly activities
- Participate in administrative and leadership responsibilities, including support of ongoing trauma verification and performance improvement initiatives
- Collaborate on a multidisciplinary trauma program focused on quality, safety, and education
- Documenting in Epic EMR
