Description

The Helmholtz Institute HIPOLE: Helmholtz-Institute for Polymers in Energy Applications Jena (HI-POLE) is looking for Postdoc (m/f/d) for automated polymer research at HIPOLE Jena. Tasks will include: Synthesis of polymers and materials using automated / robotic synthesis platforms for applications in energy storage and conversion devices.
Establishment of online and inline characterization of materials and polymers in terms of chemical structure (e.g., NMR, IR, SEC) and functional properties (e.g., cyclovoltammetry); Development of feedback-driven synthesis including the design of self-driving labs for the autonomous design of new polymers and materials for energy storage and conversion; and Summary, presentation, and publication of the results (in English).
