Description

Princpal Eng, Gen Eng'g; Rohr Inc (Chula Vista, CA). Perform stress analysis & approve repairs to minimize aircraft downtime on all commercial nacelle hardware that are compliant w/ certified type design & airworthiness (FAA/EASA) reqs. Must have at least bach degree or equiv in Mech, Civil, Aerospace, Aeronautical Eng'g or rlt & at least 8 yrs prgrssive exp as Stress Analyst or rlt role wrkng on aircrft nacelle strctre compnnts. (alt=master's+5). Must also possess at least 5 yrs exp w/: repair analysis of aircraft Nacelle Structures metallic &/or composite structures; maintenance, repair, overhaul, & regulatory reqs in commercial aircraft industry; load path, load balance, free body diagram & exp in classical hand analysis methods used in Aerospace structural analysis; finite element analysis of aircraft structure using Patran & Nastran.
