Description

Transtech Engineers, Inc. is seeking qualified Building Inspectors for full-time positions supporting municipal agencies throughout the Gateway Cities region of Los Angeles County. Candidates should have knowledge of Building, Plumbing, Electrical, Mechanical, and related codes, and be able to perform inspections for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Inspectors will work under the supervision of the Building Official or Supervising Building Inspector while providing professional Building & Safety services to the communities we serve.

Requirements

Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Building Inspector in a jurisdiction
Current ICC (International Code Council) Certification
Ability to maintain a valid CA Class “C” Driver’s License
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional customer service skills
Experience in building construction, architecture, or engineering work involving knowledge of building codes is a plus
Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
Salary will depend on qualifications.
