This position is in Cargill's protein and salt business, where we provide wholesome, high-quality food products to a wide range of customers, from foodservice operators and grocery stores to manufacturers and exporters.

Compensation: $30.70/hr

Principal Accountabilities:
- Adhere to all safety rules and regulations.
- Perform daily equipment checks and condition monitoring.
- Operate forklifts (certification required - training will be provided).
- Maintain feed safety standards, including daily bag tests and sample retention.
- Operate and maintain labeling and inkjet printing systems.
- Run, monitor, and maintain block mixing and block press systems.
- Troubleshoot and maintain dust collection systems.
- Operate, maintain and troubleshoot block palletizer equipment mineral mix bagging systems.
- Ensure availability for overtime as needed.
- Monitor salt quality and uphold high standards for block products.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas.
- Complete routine paperwork accurately.
- Work cooperatively and courteously with team members.
- Execute tasks as assigned by lead or supervisor.
- Confirm product and goods issue material in SAP system.
- Ensure 100% downtime tagging accuracy in RT DUET system.
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality while working independently and collaboratively within a team.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
- Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
- Basic computer skills
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, & division
- Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with SAP system preferred.
