As an Embedded Software Engineer at Lutron, you will contribute to high-stakes projects from the start. Additionally, you may explore other diverse opportunities in key areas of the business including product management, manufacturing, quality, operations, and more.   Embedded Software Engineers at Lutron participate within a cross-functional team to conceptualize, design, and develop innovative, high-quality consumer products and services for commercial and residential use.  You will encounter a variety of technologies throughout the product lifecycle such as:  

Smart IoT SystemsDistributed Cloud ServicesVarious Hardware Interfaces, Subsystems and Wireless TechnologiesExposure to contemporary software development tools and languagesEmbedded Linux

Your contributions will utilize the following foundational areas:

Efficient Design and use of Algorithms and Data StructuresObject Oriented Analysis and DesignWorking with Real Time Operating SystemsProtocol Design and ArchitectureAgile Software Methodology

Responsibilities

Eliciting software requirements from various stakeholdersParticipating in software design and implementationTesting, deploying, managing, and maintaining software componentsParticipating in consensus-based software project managementFeature estimation, and prioritizationReviews and Demos

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Software EngineeringMinimum, cumulative GPA of 3.00 for each degree earned0-3 years' experience in a related field
