Description
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team in a fast paced and challenging environment?As a Quality Control Analyst within the COE Spreading and Document Intake team, you will have the opportunity to provide coaching and monitoring of the team's daily performance. You will assess the quality of financial statement spreads and ensure compliance with established policies and procedures. This role allows you to leverage your advanced knowledge of financial statement analysis to train and guide the team, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
Job responsibilities:
- Provide training to the Credit Support Specialist team, partner with Managers on new initiatives and system enhancements to include procedure updates, communications, and post implementation monitoring, oversee daily production and inventory as well as conduct quality monitoring
- Provide ongoing coaching and assistance to Credit Support Specialists (I, II & Sr.) on a daily basis.
- Process Financial Statements, Appraisal reports, Borrowing Base Certificate, Compliance Certificate, Mortgage documents, Credit Agreement and abstract critical data, perform analysis of Financial Statements and complete spreading as per the guidelines
- Performs required research on the received request within stipulated timelines, interpret data, analyze results using bank's operating systems
- Act as an SME in the process and understand the upstream and downstream process
- Meet and exceed the turnaround time and accuracy rate as per the specified target, ensure adherence to the quality control standards that have been set for the process
- Generate and publish daily reports
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in Banking/Mortgage/Financial Analysis and Loan Operations
- Strong verbal & written communication to effectively communicate with various stake-holders and across levels
- Manage the complex requests with minimum supervision and independently make the decisions related to the process
- Good understanding of Financial Statements, Lease Agreement, Mortgage documents, Accounts Receivable reporting, Accounts Payable reporting, Rent Rolls Credit Agreement and other loan documents
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Client relationship and time management
- High level of proficiency in organizing, priority setting, and issues management
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Ability to work through large Excel base data and perform complex calculation
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Accounting preferred, Advanced Excel & MS Access
- Demonstrate the attributes of flexibility and accountability, candidate should be open to work in shifts
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively in team environment
