Quality Control SpecialistTroy Bank & Trust Brundidge, AlabamaTroy Bank & Trust is seeking a detail‑oriented, customer‑focused Quality Control Specialist to join our team. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of customer account information while upholding the exceptional service standards that define our bank. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and committed to excellence in every aspect of their work.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Demonstrate a positive, helpful attitude toward internal and external customers, recognizing their importance to Troy Bank & Trust and how this role directly impacts their experience.Deliver extraordinary customer service by taking ownership of customer issues and ensuring complete follow‑through until resolution.Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers and colleagues while projecting a professional image of Troy Bank & Trust.Review imaged documents for legibility, completeness, and proper indexing; document and track exceptions and ensure timely resolution.Review daily maintenance reports to verify accuracy, proper documentation, and customer authorization when applicable; document and resolve exceptions promptly.Review new deposit accounts to confirm all required documentation is complete and properly added to the bank's imaging system; track and resolve exceptions.Confirm accurate entry of new deposit accounts into the core system and all ancillary systems; document and resolve discrepancies.Review Customer Information File (CIF) records for new deposit and loan accounts to prevent duplicate records and ensure customer information is current.Prepare and deliver regular status reports to the department supervisor.Perform additional duties as assigned by management.Maintain a strong record of reliability, punctuality, and consistent attendance to support team productivity and collaboration.
Minimum qualifications include the following:13 years of banking or finance‑related experience (or equivalent education).High school diploma required; post‑secondary education preferred.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with advanced keyboarding skills. Required Skills/Abilities:High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Flexibility and enthusiasm for working in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
Additional Expectations:Ability to read, analyze, and interpret Federal and State regulatory requirements.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively under time pressure.Ability to identify problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.Detail‑oriented with the ability to identify patterns, trends, and recurring issues.Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ability to learn specialized software.Maintain strict confidentiality of customer and company information.Present a professional, business‑like appearance and demeanor.Responsibilities may evolve over time based on business needs. Physical Requirements:Ability to stand, walk, or sit for varying periods throughout the workday.Regular use of hand and finger dexterity to operate computers, keyboards, and office equipment.Occasional need to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, or crawl.Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and through active listening.Sufficient visual acuity to read documents, operate equipment, and work at a computer.Ability to lift, push, or carry items weighing up to 20 pounds.
Other:Must work in person/office.This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Pay rates for this opportunity will be based upon experience.
