Lincoln Surgical Hospital and Nebraska Surgery Center are seeking a safety-driven Registered Nurse to join our team as a Quality Services Coordinator. If you are a proactive RN passionate about fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement, we want to meet you.
The Impact You’ll Make
As the Quality Services Coordinator, you will be the cornerstone of our safety and risk management programs. You won't just follow protocols; you will identify risks, lead investigations, and collaborate with leadership to ensure an environment of excellence for our patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Safety Leadership: Serve as the Safety Officer and lead the day-to-day administration of our Safety Program.
Risk Management: Partner with Compliance to develop and execute comprehensive Risk Management and Emergency Preparedness plans across the campus.
Data-Driven Improvement: Analyze patient safety data and incident reports to identify trends, conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implement corrective actions.
Education & Collaboration: Design orientation programs and lead staff drills in coordination with Education and Facilities teams to ensure regulatory gold standards.
Regulatory Excellence: Ensure ongoing compliance with Accreditation standards, demonstrating our unwavering commitment to quality.
Schedule
Status: Full-Time, 80 hours per pay period.
Hours: Monday – Friday (No weekends or holidays).

Requirements
Qualifications
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current Nebraska RN license (or compact state equivalent). Other healthcare degrees with relevant experience will be considered.
Experience: Preferred background in Patient Safety, Emergency Preparedness or Infection Prevention.
Knowledge: Familiarity with NHSN, AORN, CMS regulations, and RCA methodology is highly valued.
