I'm working with an growing Insurtech to build out their Risk Pricing team; they want to hire a Home Risk Pricing Analyst in their retail team.By joining the team in the early stages, you will be able to make a meaningful impact and accelerate the growth of the team. The Home Risk Pricing Analyst is responsible for supporting the development and maintenance of risk pricing models and frameworks to assist in the delivery of profitable and competitive pricing strategies.
The Role -
- Risk Pricing
- Develop and maintain robust risk models, underwriting overlays, and expense layers to ensure pricing accuracy and operational efficiency
- Insights & Recommendations
- Provide analytical insights and recommendations to inform pricing decisions and strategies.
- Risk model updates
- Implement ad-hoc risk model changes driven by internal initiatives.
- Model performance monitoring
- Track the performance of the models produced by the team (actuals vs predictions).
- Experience in Personal Lines insurance (Motor and/or Home desirable)
- Programming proficiency e.g. Python; R; SQL; Git
- Strong understanding of risk modelling
- Strong communication skills
Salary - £40,000 - £70,000
