MCCI is a well-established and reputable Safety Company with over 30 years serving the Quad Cities and surrounding communities. Clients include one of the QC’s largest employers, as well as several others, see website. Providing consulting and contract services for clients in IA, MI, Ind, ETC.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Safety Consultant to support multiple client facilities in the Quad Cities area. This role is ideal for a safety professional who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys partnering with project teams, and is passionate about creating safe, compliant, and productive worksites.
What You’ll Do
- Ensure compliance with OSHA 1910 and 1926, client-specific safety rules, and site programs.
- Conduct regular site safety inspections, coaching personnel on safe work practices.
- Participate in project and progress meetings to identify risks and plan safe work methods.
- Lead and facilitate onsite safety training for employees and contractors.
- Perform incident investigations, document findings, and recommend corrective actions.
- Review safety plans, JSAs, permits, and provide oversight as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
- OSHA 30 – Construction certification (required)
- Degree in Safety, Environmental Health, or related field — or equivalent experience
- Strong understanding of OSHA standards
- Excellent communication and coaching skills
- Ability to travel based on project needs (minimal to moderate)
Compensation
Salary Range: $50,000 – $70,000 per year, based on experience and certifications
