Adena is seeking a Saw Operator to support structural steel fabrication operations. This role is responsible for accurately cutting steel materials according to shop drawings and specifications while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. This position plays an important role in preparing structural steel components used in large-scale projects across the country.

1. Operate band saws and other cutting equipment to cut structural steel materials to required dimensions
2. Read and interpret shop drawings, work orders, and material specifications
3. Measure and mark materials accurately prior to cutting
4. Ensure all cuts meet quality standards and project specifications
5. Maintain a safe and organized work area in accordance with company safety policies
6. Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance
7. Coordinate with shop supervisors, welders, and fitters to ensure efficient workflow
8. Previous experience operating industrial saws or similar fabrication equipment preferred
9. Experience working with structural steel or metal fabrication environments preferred
10. Ability to read measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers accurately
11. Basic understanding of shop drawings and fabrication processes
12. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
13. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a shop environment
