We are looking for candidates to join the Data Analytics team within our Financial Research group based in Hyderabad. The team partners closely with teams across Financial Research, as well as with Front Office and Technology functions, to manage critical data processes and deliver structured analytical support across the firm’s quantitative and discretionary investment strategies.
WHAT YOU WILL DO DAY-TO-DAY
In this role, you will lead complex projects as well as critical ongoing processes that support the firm’s strategic and operational objectives. You will work closely with technology, data, and finance teams to deliver accurate, timely, and actionable insights that drive informed decision-making and operational excellence. You will manage end-to-end data mining and analytics projects, from conception to delivery, designing and executing data pipelines that source information from structured and unstructured sources. You will transform raw inputs into high-
quality, analysis-ready datasets, develop dashboards and visualizations, and build scalable models to analyze large datasets. Using tools such as Python and Power BI, you will be expected to extract, visualize, and present insights, while continuously seeking ways to improve data quality and strengthen analytical capabilities. In parallel, you will oversee recurring, mission-critical data processes, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and timeliness. Partnering with technology teams, you will implement automation initiatives to scale operations and improve efficiency. As a senior member of the team, you will mentor junior analysts, provide technical guidance, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver high-quality analytical outputs in a dynamic environment.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The ideal candidate should hold-
Basic qualifications:
- A master’s degree in finance or an equivalent discipline, with 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in data analytics or data research roles involving large-scale data analysis, process ownership, and cross-functional collaboration
- The ability to demonstrate exceptional proficiency in Python, with experience in building data solutions
- Robust analytical, and leadership qualities, along with the ability to work independently with limited direction and guidance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred qualifications:
- General software development skills (source code management, debugging, testing, deployment, etc.)
