BRG's Integrated Healthcare Services practice specializes in performance measurement and improvement across all aspects of healthcare. This position supports clients in enhancing care delivery, optimizing reimbursement, and meeting regulatory and quality reporting requirements. You will work with large-scale healthcare datasets (e.g., claims, EHR, quality reporting data) to develop actionable insights that drive operational and clinical improvement.
We combine expertise in healthcare policy, clinical outcomes measurement, healthcare financial and revenue cycle, reimbursement systems, and advanced analytics. Our work spans hospitals, health systems, and payer organizations, addressing challenges such as value-based payment models, healthcare outcomes, quality benchmarking, risk adjustment, and predictive modeling for patient outcomes.
Job Responsibilities
- Extract, clean, and analyze healthcare data from claims, EHR, and other sources.
- Combine and integrate large, complex datasets from multiple sources to create unified analytic views for quality, financial, and operational performance.
- Maintain and optimize databases for various reporting and analytic needs.
- Develop dashboards and visualizations in Tableau or similar tools to communicate themes and opportunities.
- Perform statistical modeling and trend analysis to identify drivers of clinical performance, cost variation, and patient outcomes.
- Conduct research and synthesize regulatory guidance related to CMS quality programs, reimbursement models, value-based purchasing, and risk adjustment methodologies.
- Audit analytic outputs for accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with clinical, operational, and financial experts to translate findings into actionable recommendations for healthcare organizations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in healthcare analytics, statistics, economics, computer science, or related field.
- 24 years of experience in healthcare data analytics, including financial operations, quality measurement, case mix analysis, or risk adjustment preferred.
- Proficiency in SAS for large-scale data manipulation; experience with Tableau strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of healthcare data structures (claims, EHR, quality reporting).
- Familiarity with CMS reimbursement, quality programs and risk adjustment models preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality, detail-oriented analysis.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting complex analytics to non-technical stakeholders.
Candidate must be able to submit verification of his/her legal right to work in the U.S., without company sponsorship.
Salary Range: $70,000 $135,000 per year.
