What You Can Expect To Be Doing
Lead complex hydraulic design projects for municipal water distribution, collection systems, and treatment facilities
Design and integrate SCADA control systems for automated monitoring and operation of water/wastewater infrastructure
Engineer pump stations from concept to commissioning - including electrical controls, telemetry, and automation systems
Collaborate directly with regulatory agencies and represent clients in important meetings
Mentor junior engineers and drive innovation in sustainable design approaches
Take ownership of projects from concept through construction - your designs become reality
Use cutting-edge software and emerging technologies to solve real-world challenges
Build lasting relationships with communities and see the tangible impact of your work
What We're Looking For
BS in Civil Engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) license with a minimum of 6 years of related experience, with a strong hydraulic design background OR Registration as an Engineer in Training (EIT) on track to attain PE license with a minimum of 10 years of related experience, with a strong hydraulic design background required
Minimum of 5 years hydraulic design experience with water/wastewater systems
SCADA systems experience - design, programming, or integration of control systems
Pump station design expertise - from wet wells and pump systems to electrical/control systems
Strong technical skills in AutoCAD, hydraulic modeling software, and control system design
Communication skills - you'll present to city councils and regulatory boards

Valid driver's license & transportation for site visits and client meetings

The estimated range for this role is: $136,585 to $161,674. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as related work experience, location, market conditions, education/training, certifications, credentials, skills, and demonstrated proficiency for the role. Compensation is reviewed at least annually each year. Compensation is also adjusted throughout the year to recognize position advancement, responsibilities and licensure and/or certification.
