Global Business Services delivers Technology and Operations capabilities to Lines of Business and Staff Support Functions of Bank of America through a centrally managed, globally integrated delivery model and globally resilient operations.

In India, we are present in five locations and operate as BA Continuum India Private Limited (BACI), a non-banking subsidiary of Bank of America Corporation and the operating company for India operations of Global Business Services.

Process Overview:

Global Banking & Markets division serves mid- to large-sized corporations and institutional clients worldwide. It is comprised of Business Banking, Global Commercial Banking, Global Corporate & Investment Banking, Global Markets and Wholesale Credit. Aligned with these client-facing groups are Global Capital Markets and Global Research. Global Banking and Markets Technology provides end-to-end technology solutions for Global Markets and banking businesses including Equities, Prime Brokerage, Interest Rates, Currencies, Commodities, Derivatives, Structured Products, Commercial Card, Cash Management, Payments, Sales, Servicing and Fulfillment. Across all these products, solutions include architecture, design, development, change management, implementation and support using various enterprise technologies.

Job Description:

We are seeking a Digital Assets Technology Engineer to contribute to the design and development of blockchain and digital asset solutions. The role will focus on hands-on engineering across blockchain platforms, smart contracts, tokenization, wallets, and supporting services. The candidate should have a strong software engineering foundation, practical blockchain knowledge, and an interest in building secure digital asset solutions within a financial services environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance blockchain and digital asset applications.
• Build solutions supporting tokenization, digital assets, wallets, and blockchain-based transactions.
• Develop and integrate smart contracts and blockchain services with enterprise applications.
• Contribute to wallet integration, transaction signing, and key-management solutions.
• Participate in solution design, code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Work with senior engineers and architects on security, scalability, and integration requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, security, and business teams to deliver digital asset solutions.

Requirements

• • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Certifications If Any - NA
  • Experience Range: 4-6 years of software engineering experience, with practical exposure to blockchain or distributed ledger technologies.

Foundational Skills

• • Experience with Ethereum/EVM and understanding of smart contracts and common token standards such as ERC-20.
  • Development experience with Solidity and at least one mainstream language such as Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Exposure to at least one enterprise DLT platform such as Corda, Hyperledger Besu/Fabric, or DAML/Canton. Broad experience across all platforms is not required.
  • Understanding of digital wallets, public/private keys, transaction signing, and basic cryptographic concepts.
  • Familiarity with APIs, microservices, databases, Git, CI/CD, and modern software engineering practices.
  • Good analytical, debugging, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Desired Skills:

• • Exposure to Fireblocks or another institutional wallet/custody platform.
  • Familiarity with MPC, HSMs, PKI, or enterprise key-management concepts.
  • Understanding of tokenization, stablecoins, digital custody, or blockchain-based settlement.
  • Basic knowledge of digital asset security, risk, and compliance considerations.
