Discover opportunities for advancement and leadership in a dynamic environment.As a Software Engineer in our Technology team, you will execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting to build secure, high-quality applications. You will work with us to produce architecture and design artifacts, analyze large data sets, and drive continuous improvement. You will proactively identify hidden problems, contribute to coding hygiene and system architecture, and add to our culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect. Your expertise will help us deliver scalable, reliable, and secure products that transform our business.
Job responsibilities
- Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting.
- Create secure and high-quality production code and maintain algorithms.
- Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications.
- Gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets.
- Proactively identify hidden problems and patterns in data to drive improvements.
- Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events exploring new technologies.
- Add to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and minimum 3 years applied experience.
- Strong system design, application development, and operational stability skills.
- Advanced proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Hands-on work with Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI.
- Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks including TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, and Hugging Face.
- Experience with distributed systems and cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Expertise in microservices, RESTful APIs, and database technologies (relational/NoSQL).
- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, Blazemeter, and Chaos Monkey Testing.
- Skilled in development and testing tools including JUnit, Groovy, Postman, REST Assured, Eclipse, Maven, Jenkins, and IntelliJ.
- Effective communication across teams and management, with a proactive approach to process improvement.
- Deep understanding of IoT architectures, protocols, device management, and security best practices.
- Experience with smart building systems, property management platforms, and integration of IoT solutions in commercial and residential real estate.
- Track record of delivering scalable, reliable, and secure IoT products from concept to launch, including cloud integration and edge computing.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies.
- Exposure to cloud technologies.
- Familiarity with Spark and distributed computing, AI, ML, and Databricks.
