Job Description:
This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, and solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset. Job expectations include a strong knowledge of development and testing practices common to the industry and design and architectural patterns.
Responsibilities:
- Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
- Designs, develops, and modifies architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained
- Mentors other software engineers and coach team on Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) practices and automating tool stack
- Executes story refinement, definition of requirements, and estimating work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle
- Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas
- Automates manual release activities
- Designs, develops, and maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance)
Required Qualifications:
- Primary Skills (10+ years experience)
- React with Next.js, building the framework from scratch
- Building UI components, themes and services to manage sessions, user entitlements, and reporting for user actions.
- Handling asynchronous data using RxJS or datastore.
- Oracle 19c or higher (or any PL/SQL)
- Normalizing data from upstream databases, creating stored procedures and materialized views, PL/SQL.
- Performance-related query optimizations and resource management.
- Node 18 or higher (or Spring Boot, see below)
- Express server routing, fallback routines, API security, middleware
- Spring Boot (or Node, see above)
- Building microservices, handling CRUD operations, integrating modern Java 17+ features.
- Security and performance enhancements to the service layer.
- Secondary Skills (2+ years experience)
- Confluent or Kafka
- Building services to model and store data from a Publisher, Topic or Broker over messaging queue.
- Docker Containerization in Cloud
- Creating and storing Docker images.
- Managing and deploying docker containers in Cloud services such as:
- Red Hat OpenShift Containerization Platform, AWS, Azure, GCP.
Desired Qualifications:
- Python 3.10 or higher
- Creating secure API routes in Flask.
- Data aggregation and transformation using numpy or simple AI tools.
- MongoDB
- Converting relational to a non-relational schema using document model.
