Position Summary:

The position is for a self-driven Software Engineer who can work in a challenging Retail environment, who is responsible for analysing customer requirements, reviewing technical specifications, participating in software design review s and technical walkthroughs; and contributing to all phases of the software development life cycle. Designing, updating, and maintaining technical programs, coding specifications, end user documentations and operational procedures.

Mandatory Skills:

• 4+ Years of experience in programming and scripting languages.

• 4+ Years of experience in automation and manual testing.

• 5+ years of experience working across multiple domains, platforms, and software installations.

• 5+ years of experience in leadership roles.

• 6+ years of experience in infrastructure management and operating systems.

• 5+ years of experience in SCCM administration and deployments.

• 7+ years of experience in automation, release and deployment, Windows server administration and windows server troubleshooting

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for analysing customer requirements, reviewing technical specifications, participating in software design review s and technical walkthroughs; and contributing to all phases of the software development life cycle.

• Designing, updating, and maintaining technical programs, coding specifications, end user documentations and operational procedures.

• Developing automation code by following coding standards and guidelines as per the best practices in the industry.

• Expertise in developing automations scripts using power shell, JAVA coding using UFT and selenium web drivers.

• Responsible for identifying, documenting, testing, and debugging the issues in applications to ensure they adhere to the organizational quality standards.

• Status reporting and resolving bugs reported while testing. Responsible for providing infrastructure solutions based on application needs.

• Distributing and deploying Software to the test and prod environments based on schedules prepared.

• Building queries for doing a version check at the end of each release and building queries to check the software distribution status.

• Managing stakeholders and customers, attending meetings, and managing them. Managing multiple systems or applications of medium to high complexity with multiple concurrent users, ensuring control, integrity, and accessibility. Raising change orders and attending CAB meetings for each release or drop.

• Coordinating with the project manager to prepare a timeframe for all the projects and provide required enhancements to all programs and design all specifications for all the programs. Providing guidance in developing strategies for software design activities keeping client requirements in mind and making them cost effective.

• Following agile scrum and project management processes for software solution delivery.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Proficient working in Agile teams and having knowledge of Scrum concepts.

Salary Range: >$100,000
