Description
Do you want to build the intelligence engine of an AI-Native Safety System, turning signals into priorities, decisions, and real-world action? Are you excited by designing systems that learn from usage and continuously improve outcomes? Join Buddywise.About Buddywise
We're building an AI-Native Safety System to prevent workplace accidents before they happen. Backed by respected industry leaders and VCs, our system helps industrial and infrastructure companies detect, predict, and act on real-world risks, ensuring employees return home safely every day.
We are a focused, fast-moving team working at the intersection of AI, computer vision, and real-world operations. We design for complex environments where trust, clarity, and adoption matter. If you thrive in high-ownership environments and want to apply AI to meaningful real-world problems, Buddywise is the place for you.
What You'll Do
As Sr. Product Manager for Safety Intelligence & Orchestration, you will own the product domain that transforms structured signals into prioritised, explainable guidance that drives user action. You will take this domain from early capability to a scalable, trusted intelligence system embedded in daily operations. You will:
- Own roadmap and measurable outcomes for the domain
- Turn structured data and AI signals into prioritised guidance, recommendations, and automated actions for users
- Design closed-loop systems: signal - insight - action - feedback - improvement
- Define and evolve prioritisation, recommendation, automation, and decision-support capabilities
- Ensure intelligence is understandable, trusted, and operationally useful on the ground
- Partner closely with Engineering to bring prediction, ranking, and feedback systems into production
- Work directly with customers to validate real-world decision impact
- Drive adoption and engagement by ensuring intelligence leads to clear, high-value user actions
- Balance model accuracy, usability, user adoption and engagement, and business impact
This is a role with outsized scope and direct exposure to company strategy. You will work closely with the leadership team while owning end-to-end outcomes within your domain.
What We're Looking For
You are a systems-minded product builder who:
- Has built or owned data-driven, AI-enabled, or decision-support products
- Thinks in terms of learning loops, prioritisation, and measurable decision impact
- Is comfortable operating in high ambiguity and structuring complex problem spaces
- Understands how AI/ML systems, data pipelines, and product workflows come together in production
- Can translate complex signals into clear, actionable user guidance
- Makes structured decisions under uncertainty and evolving data
- Is hands-on, pragmatic, and outcome-focused
- Is comfortable working directly with data using tools like Python or SQL
- Can quickly prototype ideas and test hypotheses using modern AI-assisted tools
Bonus Experience:
- AI/ML, decision-support, or predictive systems in production
- Ranking, prioritisation, recommendation, or optimisation products
- Closed-loop systems that improve through usage and feedback
- Operational or safety-critical environments
Your Background & How You Work
You may have:
- Built, led or owned a data- or intelligence-driven product from early ambiguity to real-world use
- Worked on products where prediction, prioritisation, or decision quality materially mattered
- Shipped systems that influenced real-world actions and behaviour, not just surfaced data
You likely:
- Take ownership of ambiguous, high-impact problems
- Care deeply about whether intelligence improves decisions and outcomes
- Bring clarity to data-rich, technically complex environments
- Collaborate effectively across AI, engineering, and product
- Hold a high bar for quality, reliability, and user trust
- Obsess over user adoption and engagement
What You'll Get
- End-to-end ownership of a critical product area
- The opportunity to shape how AI guides real-world action and learning
- Close collaboration with the leadership team
- Berlin-based hybrid setup
- The chance to build a deeply impactful, continuously improving system from the ground up
Don't meet every single requirement?
Studies have shown that women and people of colour are less likely to apply for jobs unless they meet every single qualification. At Buddywise, we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace, so if you're excited about this role but your experience doesn't align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
