- Sr. Quality Engineer
Description
JOB DESCRIPTIONAs a hands-on leader of quality engineering for Chubb's Financial Lines and Cybersecurity businesses, you will drive technical excellence by shaping and executing robust test strategies. You'll lead the evaluation and selection of advanced tools-including AI-driven solutions-with a focus on automating at least 80% of test cases for your group. You will work with a core tech stack that includes HTML, CSS, .NET, Java, Python, Claude, and GPT, applying your expertise in quality assurance methodologies and automation testing tools to deliver reliable and scalable solutions. Your role will involve leveraging CI/CD pipelines to accelerate software delivery, implementing Page Object and Page Factory patterns to enhance test automation frameworks, and championing Agile Software Development and Quality Engineering best practices. You will ensure timely detection and resolution of errors, and configure and optimize various AI-based test tools to maximize automation and efficiency. In this role, you will:
- Develop and execute the QA automation strategy for the portfolio
- Architect and implement AI tools towards automation including but not limited to GPT, Claude, PlayWright, Browserstack and other AI tools as necessary
- Record problems and issues in accordance with the project's problem and issue management plans
- Communication and interaction with customers to solve their problems
- Participate in the release control process (when the application is transferred from the build team to the test team) to ensure that solutions meet business requirements.
- Experience in Functional Manual Testing
- Development of equipment automation plans and their approval
