At MLT, we create solutions by empowering our people to fulfill their passion for service. In support of a government client. we are seeking mid and senior-level Test & Evaluation Engineers with experience in supporting a government client.
Job Duties:
- Provide Business Analysis, Technical Process and Review Management Analysis, and Strategic Support to the APM for Engineering (APM-E), the PM Integration Engineer, and the PM Advanced Technology Integrators (ATI).
- Will provide a mixture of matrixed and dedicated SE SME support to the APM-E. Dedicated support will be capable of performing technical support and independent risk assessment and evaluation of program management execution, technical review execution (DoD 5000.02 framework), and systems engineering, as well as facilitate capture and translation of customer requirements into systems/solutions, conduct system architecture analyses, support integration planning and conduct Trade Studies/Engineering Assessments across the PM TCE program portfolio, and facilitate PM-level process development in accordance with APM-E guidance. If the organizational construct of the PMO changes, any updates to dedicated support requirements will be communicated via the COR in conjunction with Government lead requirements and, as necessary, captured via execution of option CLINs. Matrix support personnel assignment changes shall be communicated in advance and coordinated via the COR in writing no less than 7 business days prior to any change to allow Government Teams time to adjust.
- Provide engineering support to the APM-E in preparation for System Engineering Technical Reviews (SETRs), System Engineering Plan and Test and Evaluation Master Plan reviews, and in preparation of other engineering-related documents as needed.
- Perform administrative and technical tasks for the APM-E supporting development, improvement of, and training in PMO engineering policies and processes, and in development and maintenance of the APM-E's MS TEAMS and SharePoint sites. This support shall use appropriate techniques, processes, procedures, and management tools to design and develop policies, processes, strategic and Science and Technology (S&T) Roadmaps and operations within TCE. Outputs of this analytical support may include Business Processes and Workflows, Business Cases Knowledge Management processes and tools, and Capabilities Based Portfolio Analysis. In addition, the contractor shall perform appropriate tasks, functions, and analysis as necessary and as requested by the APM-E, PM Integration Engineer, and PM ATI in support of objective team execution and any program review preparation and execution.
- Support S&T and the Integration Engineer's efforts through analysis and evaluation of current capabilities, operational readiness, and operational needs.
- Deliver a high- level summary of capabilities, and identify the risks and shortfalls associated with the strategic and technology insertions into existing PM TCE Programs.
- Assist with development and updates to TCE strategic documents. Evaluation activities shall also include providing integration, interoperability and S&T recommendations to address requirements and gaps in capabilities.
- Support customer interfaces with various external organizations.
Education:
- BS (Engineering Field)
- DAU Foundational (Engineering & Technical Management) core equivalency
- 3-6 years' work related experience for mid; 8-10 years of work-related experience for senior
- Understanding of applicable DoD and USMC Test and Evaluation (T&E) policies and methodologies, including test planning, execution, data collection, and analysis. Working knowledge of Developmental Testing (DT), Operational Testing (OT), and Integrated Test and Evaluation (ITE); Developmental T&E standards and SOPs relevant to technical support and equipment management.
