*RN Supervisor - Transport* *McLane Children's Hospital - Baylor Scott & White Health* *Full-Time | Primarily Days (8AM-4PM) | Occasional Weekends | Call Every Other Week* *Summary* The RN Supervisor - Transport provides clinical and operational leadership to the Pediatric/NICU Transport teams within McLane Children's Hospital. This role supports safe, efficient, and high‑quality transport services for critically ill neonatal and pediatric patients while fostering a strong culture of teamwork, clinical excellence, and professional development. The Supervisor functions as a working leader-supporting staff, coordinating operations, and stepping into clinical shifts when needed to maintain staffing and service continuity. *Department Overview* The Transport department consists of three teams totaling 35 staff: * *Unit-Based Team:* 16 employees * *Primary Team:* 11 employees * *Round Rock Team:* 8 employees These teams support neonatal and pediatric patient transports within the McLane Children's service area. *Must-Have Qualifications* * Minimum *2 years of Critical Care experience* (NICU or PICU required). * Previous *transport experience* (pediatric or neonatal). * Active RN license; BLS and relevant specialty certifications as required by policy. *Nice-to-Have Qualifications* * 1+ years dedicated transport experience. * Prior leadership or charge nurse experience. * Experience in *both* NICU and PICU transport settings. Job Summary Your role as Nursing Supervisor involves supervising healthcare professionals and ensuring high patient care levels. Maintain a safe environment and nurture nursing practice to improve patient outcomes. Oversee operations, productivity, and resource distribution to meet department priorities.
